A.S.S. is Somewhere's Department of Public Works.

You must bring your own accommodation. As the first on-site, you will have priority access to camp spots.
If you absolutely cannot bring your own accommodation, you can pay a 50€ contribution to stay in a volunteer dorm (to be approved for this option you have to arrive on site to support build by 5th of July at the latest).
Food is provided during build, if you come as a small-bagged wayfarer, you can opt in to our volunteer meal plan during the event and chip in with 50€. Please notify us in advance so we can plan ahead. This will make you part of camp A.S.S. :)
Volunteer expectations: we will be working full days in the weeks leading up to Somewhere. We will take off one day per week for R&R, going to the beach, waterfalls, etc.

We only have limited spots available for volunteering during Somewhere! You are only approved for a full time A.S.S. position after confirmation from our org team!
Everyone who is not approved as a volunteer during the event must contribute to the meal plan with 50€ for the time of the event (you can also join a camp/ free camp and buy & cook your own meals in your personal camping setup)

On burns, everyone is responsible for their own shelter. We are willing to offer dorm spaces for build volunteers who arrive here on 5th of July at the latest. We are asking for an additional contribution of 50€ for a bed in a dorm setup

Strike will happen from the 5th - 8th of June after the burn. You need to be approved by our org to be able to stay for strike. If you are interested to stay longer term as a volunteer, you will need to go through the regular application process of Garden volunteers.
I understand that Somewhere is a burn -- which means you are responsible to bring your own food and shelter for the week (if you are not part of the A.S.S. camp)!
